EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

DATA PROTECTION

We take Data protection serious at Fraendi. Website users decide themselves which personal information they wish to reveal to us.

When a user visits the website and/or reads the newsletter, Fraendi automatically receives information that can be used to find out more about the user’s browsing habits and interests when it comes to the website, newsletter and other information.

Personal details (name, address, etc.) are required if users wish to register for our newsletter or comment on our blog. We treat this personal data confidentially at all times. This data is anonymised before being processed. With the exception of requests processed by external service providers, all personal data is used by us only to inform clients/website users (according to their interests and needs) as well as for statistical and marketing purposes for Fraendi and pro action learning Ltd.

If you leave a comment on the Fraendi website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

By using data in the way mentioned above, Fraendi can adapt its website and content to better suit the needs of its users. Data is also used for market analysis and to find out more about which of the many aspects related to Fraendi and our services are the most interesting for users. Personal data is not used in any other way, including selling personal data to third parties. Website users can contact Fraendi to find out more about their personal data that has been collected.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Beware: Internet data transfer can be subject to security loopholes. It is impossible to guarantee 100% protection from third parties accessing data. Fraendi assumes no responsibility for damage resulting from such security loopholes.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses “cookies”, which are text files saved on the user’s computer that make it possible to analyse the user’s browsing habits. The information (including the user’s IP address) generated by the cookie about the use of this website will be sent automatically to a Google server in the USA, where it will be saved. Google uses this information to analyse how the website is used, to generate reports for website owners on how their website is used as well as to provide other services linked to the use of the website and the internet. Google may (if legally permissible) transfer this information to third parties or have this information processed by third parties. However, Google will not connect the user’s IP address with other Google data. Users can change their browser settings in order to prevent cookies being saved on their computer. However, this can result in some functions on this website not working. By using our website, users give permission for the data concerning them that is collected by Google to be processed in the way described above and for the purposes described above.
